Build a flow

  1. In My Flows, create a flow or start from a template.
  2. Set the name and description and select a Flow Agent in the builder.
  3. Add nodes from the node panel, connect their outputs, and configure each selected node.
  4. Review the conversation path and save the flow.
  5. Use the flow’s Active/Inactive control when preparing it for use. Saving alone does not connect a telephone number or launch a campaign.
The builder does not require a special Start Node. Configure a clear opening and connected path appropriate to your selected agent.

Node reference

Use double-brace variables such as {{customer_name}} where the node supports substitution. Configure response variables and branch connections consistently. Webhook nodes can include method, URL, body, headers, and supported authentication settings. Their requests can change external systems, so review the endpoint and payload before using a flow on a live call. Node availability in the editor does not establish identical execution on every provider. In particular, the builder warns about Play Audio support with ElevenLabs. Follow provider warnings rather than assuming a flow designed for one engine transfers unchanged to another. Choose the saved agent’s Voice Provider in Configure > AI Agents. Realtime AI via SIP is Inbound Only and cannot be used to place an outbound workflow test or campaign call. Premium AI via SIP supports Inbound + Outbound when its trunk and number are ready.

Test and use

The flow Test dialog places a real phone call. It requires an active flow, an assigned compatible agent, and an eligible source number. Enter the intended destination in international format. Provider sync, number conflicts, and engine readiness can prevent startup; inspect the reported result and Call Logs. This phone test differs from Talk to Agent, which is a browser voice test with external actions isolated. A browser test does not validate every workflow node or the phone route. Clone, edit, toggle, test, or delete flows using the available list controls. Review linked campaigns and agents before deleting. Use Flow Logs to inspect completed or failed runs and Templates for reusable starting points.
