The Callgency Public REST API lets your application call Callgency programmatically. Its versioned base path is /api/v1 on your Callgency deployment.

Open API Documentation

Open the hosted endpoint and schema reference at app.callgency.ai/api/docs.
The API includes route groups for calls, campaigns, agents, contacts, credits, analytics, and webhooks. Consult the hosted reference for each endpoint’s method, parameters, required scope, and response schema. Review requests before executing them: write endpoints can create or change account data or trigger calling activity.

Getting Your API Key

When the REST API feature and your plan’s REST API access setting are enabled, open Settings > Developer in your dashboard.
  1. Click Create API Key and give the key a descriptive name.
  2. Select the permissions required by your integration, and optionally restrict its server IP addresses.
  3. Copy and securely store the generated key immediately; the full secret is shown only once.
  4. Send the key using Authorization: Bearer or X-API-Key.
See Authentication for headers and error handling, and API Security for scopes, key rotation, and per-key request limits. If the Developer tab is unavailable, review your account’s plan and feature access with support.

Integration Boundaries

The Public REST API is separate from Custom REST API in Integrations. Public REST accepts requests from your application into Callgency. Custom REST enables eligible Callgency agents to call configured external endpoints and has its own rollout, permissions, and usage controls. API key permissions do not replace the resource, calling, ownership, or billing requirements checked by an endpoint.
